1. Yes we will update the BIOS if needed, just mention the CPU in the order comment section.

2. Several other changes as well like the M.2 heatsink, south bridge heatsink size and RGB.

Excellent motherboard for Ryzen 5000 series, also support 3000 and 4000 series, This motherboard has identical VRM of MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk, and more or less identical features. here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
Bios Flash Back button & Dbug LED.
6 layer PCB (great for memory overclock)
It has 2.5GB/s Ethernet port and luckly my network hardware also have 2.5G/s connection.
S/PDIF audio out. and 5x 3.5mm audiojacks at the rear. ( 7.1 channel HDA)
2x NVMe M.2 ports and best part it didn't block the rest of the 6x sata ports when connecting Nvme drives into two slots. only 2nd PCIe will be inactive.
8x PWM fan connectors
2x ARGB headers & 2x RGB Headers.
Realtek ALC1200 Audio Codec
5100 Mhz Memory supported via OC.
CPU OC Supported.

Cons: Only 6 USB ports at the rear which is no big deal for me.

Overall great motherboard. Definitely Go for it.
