This motherboard is so awesome that the features it provides for the price are soo good.
You get 4 system fan, 1 water pump in this board along with 2 RGB strip pin
God, I really loved this motherboard.
When I bought this motherboard, i didn't know this motherboard has led strip in the motherboard itself which was controllable by mystic light software. The support for many high-end Ryzen CPU is another plus point
I was going to buy MSI b450 vdh max, then I choose tomahawk max over it because of the extra features and the support for upgrading to higher-end CPU and dual GPU support( crossfire)

The B450 Tomahawk Max is the updated version of the B450 Tomahawk and supports Ryzen 3000 CPUs out of the box and has a larger 32MB BIOS chip providing the user, a much more graphical interface than the latter while running Ryzen 3000 CPUs.
There are 4 fan headers, 6 SATA ports, 2 RGB headers but has only one M.2 slot, which is a bit disappointing. It has a decent VRM with good cooling.
The BIOS is very intuitive and has a search feature. Overclocking features are very good and I was able to overclock my G.Skill Trident Z 3200MHz CL15 memory to 3800MHz CL16 with tight subtimings with ease.
The motherboard overvolts the memory. For example, setting DRAM voltage to 1.45V, the motherboard supplies 1.472 volts to the memory.
There are debug LEDs that allow for easy debugging. There is an undervolt option for those looking to reduce their CPU temperatures under AMD Overclocking and works flawlessly.
The board presents an excellent value proposition for most users.

The MSI B450 Tomahawk Max is a beastly mid-level motherboard offering every bang for your buck. It has out-of-the-box support for 3rd Gen Ryzen processors. Just install your CPU, plug in other components, and you're all set. This board is also backward compatible with older generation Ryzen processors.
Features on this board would rival even the expensive x470 and x570 ones.
The enthusiast would enjoy the breezy overclocking powered by the 4+2 phase VRM. For cooling, you get 4 fan headers and one pump header, plus the standard CPU fan connector.
Onboard RGB lighting with 2 additional RGB headers for LED strips makes it a great show-off for the gamer in you.
For connectivity, there are plenty of USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports for all your peripherals. Six SATA 3.0 and one M.2 port facilitates its use in servers with multiple RAID attachments. The onboard audio and Gigabit Ethernet are top-notch as well.
I've purchased this for my Ryzen 3700x, and its one of the best decisions I've made.
