The WD blue 1 TB drive is a solid performer in this segment .. with 7200 RPM spin speed and 64 MB cache comparatively cheaper to other drives none the less ... the Noise factor on this drive is barely noticeable .. only during the initial boot up of the drive is there a noticeable sound .. but it dies down after the platters spin , its got a good performance with read speeds of about 153 mb/sec and write speeds of 148 mb/sec thus being a good cheaper alternative to an SSD drive

Cons : only 2 years warranty

Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good alternative to an SSD or even for additional storage space (For gaming i would recommend a 1TB Black drive)
