One of the best B450 chipset motherboards you can buy especially for Ryzen 3000 i.e. Zen 2 Series of AMD’s 7nm processors because these MSI Max motherboards are Ryzen 3000 Ready out of the box. The VRMs on this motherboard are the best in class and the BIOS is extremely user-friendly. You can overclock on this motherboard without even thinking twice because of the Arsenal Heatsinks. It also has a USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB C port at the I/O which is extremely convenient and future proof as well as super fast. Plus you can charge your Apple devices through that port once you install the driver from MSI’s website. I was able to run my RAM kit at 3200MHz by just turning on the XMP 2.0 Setting. There are ample amount of fan & RGB headers as well as SATA ports for people who need more storage like video editors such as myself.

What a piece of machine!! B450 TOMAHAWK MAX, You rock! I bought this after my Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite went for a toss. I was skeptical to buy an MSI because frankly, I had no experience with MSI products. Took this after a lot of reviewing and trust me, I do not regret buying this motherboard. Paired it with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600. Here's my opinion.
Pros:
1. Good build quality and 6 fan connectors on-board and each one has been placed very economically. Makes cable management so smooth.
2. Dual Memory channel is a big plus.
3. Supports Both air and liquid coolers (Pump has a seperate connector to optimize cooling using MSI software)
4. Lots of USB ports. Yes it's required all the time.!! 3.0 Gen 1 and Gen 2 and not to forget the USB 3 c type. Woahh!
5.The Cheapest board with Ryzen 3 Support. i.e the B450 Chipset ( Comes pre-flashed with new BIOS, You don't have to flash.
6. Dedicated M.2 slot to load a super-fast SSD to boost your performance.

Best Motherboard I have bought recently. This Is One of the best B450 chipset motherboard which has best VRM than any other B450 chipset motherboard. You Easily Overclock AMD Processors without any problem. Currently, I'm Using Ryzen 5 3600 with this motherboard and ruuning at 4Ghz speed smoothly. I would prefer you this motherboard, If u want with wifi and Bluetooth then go for MSI B450 Gaming Carbon AC motherboard
