Great motherboard in budget range.
I bought this for my 3700x considering it's good VRMs and support for 4th gen PCIE.
There are many good things that stands this MOBO apart from competition:
- Good VRMs and heat sinks for 8 cores processor with giving stable overclocking experience.
- User friendly bios.
- Pre-installed I/O shield.
- Sufficient internal headers including 2 ARGB connectors, separate header for pump.
- External ports selection is good. USB type C is included.
- Pre-installed wireless module with antennas for better reception. (5Ghz Wifi)
- MSI audio boost is great.
- The use of M.2 slots does not disable any SATA port.
- Really appreciate the debug LEDs.
- Support the BIOS update with M-FLASH.
Things that could be better:
- Extremely slow boot time. It takes up-to 26 seconds to boot windows 10 on my 970 Evo NVME ssd. BIOS update should fix this.
Reason I went for this:
- Best offerings in the 20k budget.
- Got CM ML240 liquid cooler free with this.
This the aesthetic motherboard that supports the strongest CPU
This is an excellent mid range motherboard with great features as compared to its competitors.

Supports Ryzen 3rd gen, I’m currently using Ryzen 9 3900x.
I am using it mainly for using for VFX and rendering, so yeah this motherboards pulls out the full power of the cpu,
The favorite aspect of the product is PCIe gen 4.0 that pulls out the full performance of a GPU.
It has Wifi inbuilt plus RGB lights
Throttles the full performance of the configuration
Lots of expandability
Lots of fan headers
Built-in M.2 SSD heatsink
Well, I think this is an excellent mid-range motherboard that is specifically created for the performance of Ryzen Gen 3.
Exceptional Board
Pros: – Intuitive and Easy to use BIOS
– Sturdy construction
– FAST WiFi built-in
– PCIE4
Metal reinforced PCIe slot
Aesthetics
Cons: – CPU Cooler is a bit challenging to attach.
– RGB Lighting isn’t very visible with my particular case
Overall Review: I purchased this board as part of a new AMD build I am putting together. I’ve had great experiences with MSI products in the past and this motherboard is no exception. The board is very sturdy and feels like a premium product. The reinforced PCIe x16 slot is doing a great job keeping my RTX 2070 super sturdy
I love the BIOS on this board. It is very straight forward and easy to understand. I don’t intend to overclock this machine.
This board has so far met and exceeded my expectations of anyone who is shopping around.
Overall good looking, solidly built, plenty of features, and gets the job done with extra room for overclocking.
