After hours looking at reviews for my new build I couldn't really find anything on B450 boards but Amazon had a few on this. I compared its features with others in similar price ranges and it had everything I needed. The quality of the board and components is excellent and it has a nice color scheme. It was easy to fit in my case and feels solid. I didn't recognize my m.2 at first but a quick Google search showed I had it in the wrong slot. The VRM has a nice heatsink but there's isn't any cooling for the m.2. Many argue this is needed however, I don't find this necessary and the board stays quite cool with my air cooling. Great product, easy bios and can be updated via USB and reset with a button. I haven't tried the RGB options yet but will explore this later on.
Amazing little MoBo! I bought it pre-Ryzen 3000 series for my Ryzen 5 2600 and it works great. It's basically the younger sister to the all-rounder B450 Tomahawk which comes highly recommended, actually, the ONLY recommended board as far as VFM goes, for 2nd gen Ryzen 5s and 7s. And if you're going for an mATX form factor build like me, Mortar is the only thing you should be considering since it's pretty much Tomahawk in a smaller form factor for all intents and purposes The best thing about it is that it has a very potent (and very real) 4 phase VRM. BIOS Flashback feature is cherry on top!
