God, I really loved this motherboard.
When I bought this motherboard, i didn't know this motherboard has led strip in the motherboard itself which was controllable by mystic light software. The support for many high-end Ryzen CPU is another plus point
I was going to buy MSI b450 vdh max, then I choose tomahawk max over it because of the extra features and the support for upgrading to higher-end CPU and dual GPU support( crossfire)
The B450 Tomahawk Max is the updated version of the B450 Tomahawk and supports Ryzen 3000 CPUs out of the box and has a larger 32MB BIOS chip providing the user, a much more graphical interface than the latter while running Ryzen 3000 CPUs.
There are 4 fan headers, 6 SATA ports, 2 RGB headers but has only one M.2 slot, which is a bit disappointing. It has a decent VRM with good cooling.
The BIOS is very intuitive and has a search feature. Overclocking features are very good and I was able to overclock my G.Skill Trident Z 3200MHz CL15 memory to 3800MHz CL16 with tight subtimings with ease.
The motherboard overvolts the memory. For example, setting DRAM voltage to 1.45V, the motherboard supplies 1.472 volts to the memory.
There are debug LEDs that allow for easy debugging. There is an undervolt option for those looking to reduce their CPU temperatures under AMD Overclocking and works flawlessly.
