Q. Hi you might know that this ups has voltage protection. So it should keep my ac output within 240V. But I heard that sometimes if the input, that is, the power in my wall socket goes to 255V the ups does not regulate it to 240V. Instead it gives the same output 255V. But my pc cant take more than 240V. I know in rare occasions the mains goes up so high or it might never get that high. But what if one day a catastrophe happens and it goes to 255V. Will the UPS give 255V or will it regulate it to 240V? that is my question. Please answer if you are completely sure. I don't want my computer to get damaged if someday the power goes up to 255V. will the UPS regulate it back to 240V? Thank you for reading.

A.

Please get your answer through APC as they can only assure you, whereas this doesn't happens even if your voltage reaches 255

the UPS will provide only 240 but please confirm this from APC once and do not move forward with our confirmation.
