The processor came in a fairly decent to good packaging. The only problem I encountered was my processor was it was not showing all 4 cores, 8 threads. The L1 cache was half too. I checked multiple times in msconfig, device manager, task manager and open hardware monitor. Then I tested it in Cinebench R20 so it scored way too low 1190 even lower than my previous 3200G 1420. Then I downloaded Ryzen master utility tool and reset + restored all values to default and rebooted the system and voilā it worked. All the 4 cores, 8 threads showed up along with complete L1 L2 L3 cashe. So i re-benched it in Cinebench R20 and it scored excellent 2536. At last thank you mdcomputers.in

The absence of ccx-ccx latency due to all 4 cores being located on a single ccx sharing l1, l2, l3 cache uniformly shows incredible improvement in single threaded workloads. With a decent all core OC, this cpu can match gaming performance of ryzen 3600 and even beats it in some fairly old games optimized for lesser no. of cores.
This makes a great option for those planning to build a gaming-focused pc as it offers the best value in this price range, however for production workload there are better offerings in the market from AMD itself like 2600 or 1600af. If you want to do both gaming and production at budget, just throw in a ryzen 3600 as the overall value it offers is far unmatched by any CPU till date.
