Questions and Answers
Q. Will it work good with gigabyte b450 d3sh or I should go for MSI b450 pro vdh
A.
You can go for either motherboards. They will support the processor after a BIOS update.
Q. What is the difference of running it on a320 and b450 mono will I see any performance increase on running it on b450
A.
B450 sports more PCIe lanes than A320 and thus, the bandwidth range will increase. Resulting in faster performance.
However, it is recommended to go with B550 / X570
motherboards. As the CPU comes PCIe Gen 4.0 ready, it will require PCIe
Gen 4 supported motherboards to gain the added advantage of the increased bandwidth of gen 4 PCIe lanes.
Q. Can I run it efficiently on a320 chipset mono after bios update
A.
The processor will run on A320 motherboards after BIOS update. But it will not perform efficiently to it's full potential.
For AMD Ryzen 3 3300X, it is recommended to go with B550 / X570 motherboards. As the CPU comes PCIe Gen 4.0 ready, it will require PCIe Gen 4 supported motherboards to gain the added advantage of it.
